Convertible dressing for Fall: So many looks, so little $$$

Maybe it's the bipolar weather, maybe it's the stress of planning what to wear for Fashion Week, but I'm totally into convertible pieces right now. There's just something to be said for easy, almost effortless style.

For example- All you'd need is one or two of these pieces, different shoes and accessories, and maybe a pair of leggings, and Voila! The possibilties are endless.

So, it's no surprise that I'm totally into Trudy Miller's Kimono Dragon:

And Butter by Nadia:

The dresses come in both satin and jersey, and in tons of different styles. They even make a ball gown!

And speaking of convertible pieces, I've had my eye on these Colin Stuart boots for a while, which can be worn over the knee, slouched, or folded over.

And these, which also unzip so they can be worn as a bootie!

[is it me, or does Victoria's Secret have the BEST shoes?!]

I think convertibles are GREAT core items for your wardrobe. You can dress them up or down, adapt to weather, and they give you so many options.

Completely change your look- with a quick zip or tie. Especially great for those of us who love to switch it up all of the time!
