Colorblocking: Black & Pink

I'm a sucker for fuschia. Not head to toe, Elle Woods fuschia, but balanced with black, or used as a small pop of color. As much as I try to fight my inner Barbie, I can't stay away from pink.... I gravitate toward any item that comes in the shade, and often have to remind myself that I'm not a contestant on Toddlers & Tiaras.

Nicky and Betsey got it right. (Let's be real, when DOESNT Betsey get it right?) Nikki uses the shade as an accessory, while Betsey makes it the focus of her outfit:

And it works for both.

And I must be overtired (2:30 in the morning!), because IMO Taylor Momsen usually looks like a baby prostitute. But I'm L.O.V.E-ing this look.

I love the bright skirt balanced with the tough biker details. And ditto to the pop of hot pink on the lips. Now if she'd only brush her hair...

Love this! And I couldn't agree more about Momsen, I saw her IRL and wanted nothing more than to give her a makeover.
