Fringe benefits.

I blame Bespoken4 for feeding my already sick addiction with fringe. (Fringe is the new studs, y'all...and you know how FerOHHHsh feels about studs!)

Obviously those are the pieces I want most, because obviously I'm made of $$. Here's to hoping 2010 plants a money tree in my yard. Shit, I KNEW I forgot to ask Santa for something.

And um.. can we talk about one more thing?

Dooooooooope.

You wanna say that to my face?

This ring will do some damage...but that's totally not why I want it. Pinky swear.

Crystal Knuckle Ring

Diamond on the rocks, with a twist.

Piaget gives new meaning to "cocktail ring".

Lol, why haven't I seen these before? They're fabulous. And more importantly, why haven't these been worn by the SATC girls?!?! Paging SJP!

Piaget.

Maybe I'll have to learn origami in 2010.

PAPER shoes. Made of PAPER. Are you getting me?

Unreal.

In the same vein, paper accessories.

Again, PAPER. My mind is blown.

Look for the girl with the sun in her eyes...a girl with kaleidoscope eyes?

"Swarovski has been synonymous with adding that extra `sparkle’ to everyday life. Swarovski crystals have the power to transform the ordinary into something extraordinary through their sheer brilliance. `Sparkle’ is one such attempt to enhance the expression of one of our most expressive features: our eyes. Sparkling eyes have long been an expression of natural beauty. With Swarovski crystals fused into contact lenses, your eyes can sparkle like they’ve never sparkled before!"

Umm....too far. I love bling as much as the next Ista, but I'm not trying to take an eye out.

Dress of the decade?

According to InStyle Magazine, Kate Hudson's Versace gown for the 2003 Academy Awards was deemed “Dress of the Decade”.

My pick is Eva Mendes in Dior at the 2009 Globes, which also ranked high on the list at #4:

What do you think?

Naeem Khan Pre-Fall 2010

Giving McQueen a run for his money...

I give you the footwear concepts of Andreia Chaves...

“The Invisible Shoe” has a mirrored surface, creating a deceptively obscured optical effect with every step taken.

“The Prism Shoe” is a fascinating structural design that by itself looks like an intricate work of origami – casting beautiful kaleidoscopic shadows against the ground.

The “Form & Texture Shoe” exhibits a disciplined study of form and material while keeping just enough chaos to stay interesting. The contradiction here is the seemingly indestructible framework fused with the disorderly arranged leather and sycamore wood cubes.

The "Velcro Shoe” holds the foot with simple velcro strips-- you can easily change its shape, redesigning it and creating sculptures in air.

Girl crush.

Ok, this picture of MJ deserved it's own post. Girlfriend is in KILLER shape. Those abs are crazy good.

You know, with all of the celebs modeling for their own lines and giving models everywhere a bad name (*ahem.LOHAN.BEYONCE.KIMORA.ahem*), MJ is about the only one who should be in print.

And though this pic has been widely reported, I had to post anyway. I mean, the LV towels are expected....but girlfriend has a $10,000 Birkin on the beach. IN THE SAND. ON THE BEACH.

A girl after my own heart.

File this under: Collabs I actually give a shit about.

Once upon a time, I wrote a post about a fab, spiked track suit worn by a certain poster child for beatdowns:

Love it? Well aren't you in luck, as the suit (or a near-exact replica) is part of the Ashish for Topshop collab, along with my new favorite sweat suit:

Also notable is the brand's third collab with Ann Sofie Back:

...which is right up my alley, and if you read this blog, probably yours too.

Collabs go on sale Jan. 20th, along with the Jonathan Saunders collection, which I fell asleep viewing. If you care, check that one out via Nitrolicious [Images via as well]
