Jersey Couture

First we're gifted with the Super Bowl, now fashion week is coming to the garden state!

Donnella Tilery, the muse behind the event, had the idea for New Jersey Fashion Week when she realized the state was flooded with amazing talent in the fashion industry. Tilery wanted to create an outlet for everyone to showcase their talent. Regardless if you are a Jersey native or not, Tilery invites everyone to apply for NJFW.

New Jersey's first ever fashion week is set to sail October 11-13, with emerging designers in hair design, fashion and accessories showcasing their talent.

On October 12 designers will exhibit their talent on the runway: The 13 of October will be for accessory designers. Each designer will be entered into the Rising Star contest where prizes are a crystal trophy, prizes worth over one thousand dollars and the opportunity to have your design reviewed by FGI.org members.

Tickets are $100 each and $25 of each ticket will be donated to the Susan G. Komen breast cancer fund. Tickets go on sale in July-no tickets will be sold at the door.

BTW, we are aware that our post title rhymes with "prostitution whore". Coincidence...we swear. ;)

If you do decide to check it out, say hi to the Housewives for us. They'll attend the opening of an envelope.
